Get well wishes are going out to Mary Brouse who had the misfortune of falling last week and has been in Hull Hospital with an injured hip. We are thinking of her and wishing her a speedy recovery.
I was speaking with Therese Provost-Demell, who is on the mend after having three stents put in her heart recently. Therese was so pleased with the care she received at the Pontiac Community Hospital.
She is grateful to her family, friends, and neighbours for all of the love and support she has received over the past few weeks. She is gaining back her strength and feeling much better. We’ll continue to keep her in our prayers.
We have birthday wishes going out to Madyson Belland on Feb. 6, to Sarah Davis on Feb. 7, to Marie-Eve Provost and Grace Draper on Feb. 8, and to Kane Flemming on Feb. 9. Happy first birthday to Lainey Woermke as she celebrates on Feb. 11 with love from mommy, daddy, and big brother Sam. We also have birthday wishes going out to Barb Atwell on Feb. 12. On Saturday, my mom and I joined a group of family and friends in toasting my aunt Mona MacKechnie for her birthday. We had drinks and snacks at the home of Mona and Laurie before heading over to The Pit Stop for dinner and cake. Mona treated her guests to some yodelling, singing and story telling. It was a wonderful celebration for a wonderful woman.
