Congratulations to Tom and Erin Dolan on the birth of their first child, a son named Patrick (Paddy) Alexander who arrived on July 11. Proud second-time grandparents are Terry and Dawn Dolan of Quyon. He is the first grandchild for Don and Nickie Maclachlan of Barrhaven, Ont. Wishing the family all the best with their little bundle of blue.
On Sunday, we attended a lovely baby shower in honour of Meghan (Morris) MacKechnie at Coronation Hall in Bristol. Meghan was showered with many gifts and good wishes from her family and friends. She and Brandon are expecting their little girl at the end of August and we can’t wait to meet her.
Our condolences to Bernadette Joyce and her family on the passing of her sister, Elva Perron on July 2.
Deepest sympathy to the family of Alcide “Sid” Trudeau as he passed away on July 9 at the age of 82. Our thoughts are with all who mourn at this sad time.
