Our vote counts for nothing in the Pontiac

The Equity

Dear Editor,
I have attached an interesting chart which shows us that voters of the Pontiac MRC voted for absolutely nothing.
My chart shows this via two scenarios. It shows that in the last election we produced 20.7 per cent of the votes in the Pontiac riding. Scenario one: 100 per cent of votes in the MRC go to the CAQ; Scenario two: 100 per cent go to the QS. Conclusion: Neither matters. The Liberals are the big winners in both scenarios. Practically speaking, it is Aylmer which determines who will be in power in our riding. All of us, Pontissois and Pontiackers, have not a word to say.
Once we understand this phenomena it is easy to see why Pontiac, properly speaking, is in a free fall. When will our politicians address this issue.
Why are we thrown in with Aylmer? Think about how different our many, many needs are.
