Walking my pup this morning and thinking about my first winter trip away to Florida, a sentence came . . .
into my head. I’m doing the last things before I go. I’m packed and my passport is ready. But because of a recent event, that sentence sent my thoughts on a different track when it came into my head. A good friend’s husband died and I went to his funeral. The minister spoke of life after death.
My trip is going to be fun and exciting. But what about when it is time, not just to leave for a trip, but leave this earth? There are lots of last things to do while we are alive and being alive is our chance to do them.
Are we ready to meet our Creator? The One who gives us life and breath every moment of every day? Well, what if I don’t believe that you might say? Is it worth the odds? A good question.
God has and will make things clear if we ask Him. It is worth thinking about.
