One person has died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 17 between Storyland Road and Renfrew’s Bruce Street.
Ontario Provincial Police were called to the scene of the crash just after 10 a.m. on Feb. 11.
Police have reported that one of the drivers, a 77-year-old male from Ottawa, was pronounced dead at the scene, and that four people were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The stretch of highway between Storyland Road and Bruce Street was reopened to the public Wednesday evening, after being closed most of the day to allow for a thorough investigation.
Police are requesting that anybody with information that could assist the investigation, such as dashcam footage, contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Une personne est décédée dans une collision impliquant deux véhicules sur l’autoroute 17, entre le chemin Storyland et la rue Bruce de Renfrew.
La Police provinciale de l’Ontario (PPO) a été appelée sur les lieux de l’accident un peu après 10 h, le 11 février.
La police a indiqué que l’un des conducteurs, un homme de 77 ans d’Ottawa, a été déclaré mort sur les lieux et que quatre personnes ont été transportées à l’hôpital avec des blessures ne mettant pas leur vie en danger.
Le tronçon de l’autoroute entre le chemin Storyland et la rue Bruce a été rouvert à la circulation mercredi soir, après avoir été fermé la majeure partie de la journée pour permettre une enquête approfondie.
La police demande à toute personne ayant des informations pouvant aider l’enquête, comme des images de caméra de tableau de bord, de contacter la PPO au 1-888-310-1122.
