Businesses and organizations in the Pontiac are working quickly to respond to the recent tariffs imposed by the U.S. government.
To help support the economic vitality of the region, the Pontiac Chamber of Commerce along with SADC Pontiac and the MRC Pontiac are hosting an evening for leaders to come together to identify tangible actions that can be taken.
We will be joined by Pedro Antunes , the Chief Economist of The Conference Board of Canada , who will share his perspectives on the impacts of the tariffs and what businesses can do in response.
We will then invite participants to work together to identify the actions they are currently taking, share the actions they plan to take, and to identify other options that they can pursue in the future. We will share the results of these strategies and tactics with the community to help support the entire region.
