Nadine Elias from the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance (CWHHA) will provide information about how heart disease behaves differently in women, teaches about the signs of heart attacks in women and explains why these differences occur. She will also explain why knowledge of heart disease in women has lagged behind what is better known about men and about what is being done to catch up.

Women die prematurely, unnecessarily from undetected Heart Disease because they have not been informed of the signs of cardiology disease in women nor of how female heart attacks behave differently from men’s. The Saint Valentine Vendor Market at the Forest Inn in Bryson features 25 artisans, a pop-up flower shop, and a bouquet workshop. The market runs Friday, February 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Lunch and dinner menus are available for dine-in or take-out.
