Another Shawville Fair has come and gone. We had lots of company this week-end which we enjoyed immensely. My daughter, my granddaughter Emily and her friend and my sister Susan were visiting from Frankford Ont. We had a lot of good laughs and fun.
My daughter, Emily and her friend went to the fair every day except Monday.
My Westie is having her pups as I am writing these notes with my daughter as her nurse. Luckily she doesn’t have too hard a time.
Next weekend there will be a lovely turkey supper at Bristol Ridge Church starting at 5 p.m., then Sunday at 2 p.m. music videos etc. Eric and Irene Zimmerling are cooking the meal.
My granddaughter Emily is starting her second year at Algonquin College to be a social worker.
My neighbour Linda Dorzek entered a lovely raisin pie in the fair. I hope she got a ribbon.
I have been busy making salsa and applesauce since there are so many apples on our tree outside the back door this year.
We had another nice golf night this past week at Pine Lodge until the storm hit us.
I hope everyone has a great week with health and happiness.
