I want to wish a happy birthday to Keysha Tubman. Belated birthday wishes to Randi-Lee Chevrier, Shelby Chevrier and Lorraine Harris.
I was very sorry to hear of the passing of my cousin, Bruce Sharpe, who died recently following a brief illness with cancer. Also very sorry to hear of the sudden passing of Lillian Pasch.
I am off work this week so it is a good time to catch up on all the things I have put aside.
I made salsa yesterday with all the nice tomatoes I got from my friend Brenda from Braeside, Ont. I also made some nice applesauce with the apples from our tree. We have been giving pails of apples away to people for their horses, pigs, etc.
We received a nice jar of honey from Harry Behlau which is 100 per cent pure.
It’s going to be a busy week in Shawville with the Shawville Fair. My daughter Natasha, her daughter Emily and a friend will be coming. It is going to be a fun time.
We got our motorhome safetied in Gatineau on Friday. There were just a few minor repairs needed. It will be nice to go to some of the jamborees, etc.
It will be three years since my mother passed away and I am still missing her.
Best wishes to Don Hodgins who hasn’t been feeling well.
Also best of luck to Mireille Robillard (Beau) with her horse in the fair.
