Dear Editor,
On Saturday, Aug. 8, Nancy Conroy, Betty Chamberlain and Peter Morrison organized a tour of the graves of the early Clarendon pioneers. Nancy talked a little about each founding pioneer family. Then she explained how to clean the tombstones so they can be read. We had a good group of visitors on a very hot and muggy day. Thanks to the organizers, it was a very productive day.
Anyone interested in preserving the memories of their families should contact Peter Morrison to help read and locate the tombstones. Nancy is able to teach how to clean them.
