Hospital surgical wing named in honour of Dr. Earle Potvin 

On Sunday afternoon, the surgical wing at the Pontiac Hospital was named in honour of Dr. Earle Potvin, a recently-retired surgeon who practiced medicine in the community for 57 years. Pictured are several of Dr. Potvin’s long-time colleagues who were on hand to celebrate the day. From left, Dr Pascal Croteau, Dr. John Wootton, Dr. Keith MacLellan, Dr. Earle Potvin, Dr. Thomas O’Neill and Dr. Kaveh Roustaian. Potvin’s friends and family celebrated the day with a reception at the Little Red Wagon Winery following the plaque unveiling at the hospital.
