This past weekend was a very busy time for the Pingouin Trails. The two parking lots were overfilled in Sheenboro with trucks and trailers. It would help with the parking if people would consider angle parking on Mountain Road.
Sullivan Homestead in Sheenboro had eight snowmobilers come from the Kemptville Club including the president Penny Lennox. They were impressed with the snow and the groomed trails. A tip of the hat to those working long hours to maintain the trails. Evan Gray of White Lake, Ont. and a taxpayer of Sheenboro is doing a great job grooming in our area. Also our local trail network is well groomed thanks to one of our locals who enjoys and takes pride in the Sheen trails.
Just a reminder Hockey Day at Downey’s Bay, Sheenboro is on Feb. 8.
