I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. We had a delicious family . . .
turkey dinner at my sister and brother-in-law’s in Chelsea, Que. at the foot of the Gatineau Hills. We not only celebrated all we have to be grateful for, but we also celebrated my nephew Caden’s 14th birthday.
On Sunday, after a Thanksgiving church service which saw the sanctuary bursting with bountiful harvest decor, we went to Caden’s hockey game in Hull. We then spent the late afternoon touring the back roads of the Pontiac, enjoying the gorgeous fall colours. It has been absolutely stunning this year. What a fabulous Thanksgiving it was.
Happy first birthday to Luna Watson as she celebrates today. I’d also like to send birthday wishes to my aunt Brenda Young, celebrating on Oct. 22. Blessings to everyone celebrating this week.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Lois (Martineau) Young as she passed away on October 8. Her loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers.
One of my favourite days of the year is coming up this Saturday. The Quyon Lionettes Car Rally is happening and it is always such a fun event. I am looking forward to hitting the road with my teammates. I can’t wait to see what the organizers have in store for us this year. Wishing everyone the best of luck on this year’s rally.
