On Thursday, the Birthday Club met this month at the Waltham Station. Yours truly was this month’s birthday girl. We enjoyed socializing, a delicious lunch and lovely birthday cake. I am truly blessed to have so many caring and loving family and friends in my life.
Waltham was saddened to hear of the passing of former resident Cecile Durocher (nee Belanger) of Alberta. She was the beloved wife of the late Arnold Durocher. Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this sad time.
Every day the flood waters are slowly receding. The flood victims have a long road ahead of them cleaning up and restoring their properties. They are always in our thoughts and prayers.
