Our heartfelt sympathy is with Kathryn (Horner) Perry of Shawville, in the recent passing of her beloved husband Ellard Perry. Ellard was raised here in Waltham. Our thoughts and prayers are also with his children, grandchildren, family and friends at this sad time.

On Friday evening, family and friends gathered at the Waltham Station to honour and celebrate with Theresa and Barry Harkins, on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. Everyone enjoyed a tasty meal and a beautifully decorated cake.
On Saturday evening, the children of Waltham enjoyed a well attended Halloween party at the Waltham Town Hall. Everyone had a great time.
The temperature dropped considerably in the past week. This morning when we woke up we had a few snow flurries. We know what is just around the corner.
