Local News: During the next week, the Rt. Rev. John Dixon, D.D., Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Montreal, will make his annual visit to the Deanery of Clarendon.

At the regular council meeting held Oct. 3, the council approved the application of Mr. Morley Hodgins to erect a commercial building as long as he complies with the building by-law.

Followers of hockey in the Ottawa district are to be kept more fully informed of happenings in the bulletin by the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association and the Ottawa and District Amateur Hockey Association. These bulletins will contain items of interest to local fans, interpretation of the decisions handed down by the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association and reports of meetings of the Ottawa and District Amateur Hockey Association.
