Local news: St. Paul’s Church Sunday School, visited St. George’s Church on Sunday afternoon to join in a S. S. Rally which was held there. St. George’s, it is said, never held a larger nor more interested congregation, and the service which ensued was bright and impressive. Fifteen autos conveyed the St. Paul’s contingent to the old historic town.
The G. F. Hodgins Co. Limited, shipped a full car of soup peas this week. We understand this to be the first carload of this variety of grain to be shipped from this station.

Personal mention: The marriage of Miss Florence Jewell Corrigan, daughter of our townsman, Robert and Mrs. Corrigan — of which official notice is given elsewhere — was a very pleasing and interesting event. The groom was supported by his brother, while Miss Lillian Dale was bridesmaid. The bride carried a wreath of roses. Miss Annie MacCallum played the wedding march. After partaking of a very appetizing and bountiful lunch the bridal party went on an extended wedding trip.
