Farewell tea for the Sisters of St. Joseph Campbell’s Bay: On Sunday, the parish of St. John the Evangelist of Campbell’s Bay held a farewell tea in honour of the Sisters of St. Joseph who are closing the convent there after fifty years of community service.

The auditorium of St. John’s Elementary School, where about 400 people met in the course of the afternoon, was beautifully decorated in red and gold and copies of the Coat of Arms.

Everyone enjoyed the buffet lunch which was prepared by the Ladies of the Catholic Women’s League.
