Local News: At R.J. Wilson’s on Wednesday, John J. Hodgins, who is operating the syndicate clover huller in that district, hulled 600 pounds of seed from three loads of clover in the short space of two hours and 40 minutes. This is considered extra good work as well as indicating an abundant yield of seed.

Ottawa’s observatory reports Tuesday night’s temperature as the lowest for several years: minus 36 below, which was considerably lower than any of our local thermometers registered. A report from Waltham stated the mercury had dropped to 40 below.
