Rain lets up for Campbell’s Bay-Litchfield parade: Although it was wet for most of the weekend, Mother Nature didn’t rain on the Campbell’s Bay-Litchfield Santa Claus Parade.

The rain let up for about an hour Saturday afternoon to allow for the 27 floats to travel down Front Street.

Hundreds of people waited anxiously for a glimpse of the bearded one in the red suit.
First prize was St. John the Evangelist Parish; second prize went to Campbell’s Bay R.A. Third prize was for Pontiac Lions.
