Local News: This is the first year to attempt a four-day fair at Shawville. the extra day will give more time for judging early so that exhibits may be observed after judging.

There will be a full program for three days and nights, Thursday, Friday and Saturday when an admission will be charged at the gate. Good races will be run off both on Friday and Saturday and Daniels Greater Shows will supply a complete midway.

The Clarendon Women’s Institute enjoyed a picnic at the cottage of Mrs. L. Horner in July instead of the regular business meeting. Games, quizzes and races were enjoyed, many winning prizes.
