Families across the Pontiac bundled up to greet Santa Claus on one of his many stops across the region over the weekend. The jolly fellow made appearances in six parades, kicking things off in Danford Lake on Saturday morning, and ending in Chapeau on Sunday afternoon, inspiring locals to throw together their own festive floats to welcome him to the village.
If you missed him last weekend and don’t mind a drive, he’ll make an appearance in one last parade in Rapides-des-Joachims this Saturday, Dec. 13.

Les familles du Pontiac se sont emmitouflées pour saluer le père Noël lors de l’un de ses nombreux arrêts dans la région au cours du week-end. Le joyeux personnage a participé à six défilés, débutant à Danford Lake le samedi matin et se terminant à Chapeau le dimanche après-midi, incitant les habitants à créer leurs propres chars festifs pour l’accueillir dans le village.
Si vous l’avez manqué le week-end dernier et que vous ne craignez pas de faire un peu de route, il fera une dernière apparition dans un défilé à Rapides-des-Joachims ce samedi 13 décembre.
