At “High Noon,” the action moves to the RA Hall for a Texas Hold’ Em Tournament, with lunch served shortly after. The day wraps up with an evening of music and dancing from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.

On February 7, 2026, celebrate the second edition of La Fete de la Neige, in collaboration with Ski-Doo. The event will be held simultaneously across all regions of Quebec so that every snowmobiler can enjoy a festive and unforgettable day. Adventure starting from the heated rest stop in Wyman: two bridges to Ontario, TQ43 to Campbell’s Bay, gourmet break at the Ladysmith Hotel, stop at the heated rest stop in Thorne, and return to Wyman.

The Bryson CWL is hosting a Valentine’s Breakfast at Immaculate Conception Church. This community meal will be held in the church’s basement hall, located at 863 rue Principale in Bryson. Tickets are $10, or $5 for kids five years old and under.

The Observatoire du développement de l’Outaouais (ODO) research group invites you to participate in this bilingual public consultation for residents of Thorne, Otter Lake, and Alleyn-et-Cawood. Nadine Elias from the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance (CWHHA) will provide information about how heart disease behaves differently in women, teaches about the signs of heart attacks in women and explains why these differences occur. She will also explain why knowledge of heart disease in women has lagged behind what is better known about men and about what is being done to catch up.

The Saint Valentine Vendor Market at the Forest Inn in Bryson features 25 artisans, a pop-up flower shop, and a bouquet workshop. The market runs Friday, February 13 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Lunch and dinner menus are available for dine-in or take-out.

The Otter Lake 50+ Club is having their annual Valentine Dinner & Dance. Tickets are $30 in advance.
