The Ladysmith Recreation Committee is hosting its first Winter Carnival on Saturday, February 21st, featuring a full day of activities for all ages. The event includes a ball hockey tournament for $250 per team, a euchre tournament for $5 per person, and a chili competition. Guests can also enjoy a community skate, a fire pit, and refreshments from the canteen and hot chocolate station. To register a team or for more details, please message the committee directly.

When: 6 a.m. onwards

The day’s events include a pancake breakfast beginning at 6 a.m., a dart tournament, a spaghetti supper, and dancing into the evening. Prizes to be won for biggest catches. Non-perishable food donations will be collected for a chance to win a fishing trip.
