Nadine Elias from the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance (CWHHA) will provide information about how heart disease behaves differently in women, teaches about the signs of heart attacks in women and explains why these differences occur. She will also explain why knowledge of heart disease in women has lagged behind what is better known about men and about what is being done to catch up.

The Saint Valentine Vendor Market at the Forest Inn in Bryson features 25 artisans, a pop-up flower shop, and a bouquet workshop. The Ladysmith Recreation Committee is hosting its first Winter Carnival on Saturday, February 21st, featuring a full day of activities for all ages. The event includes a ball hockey tournament for $250 per team, a euchre tournament for $5 per person, and a chili competition.
