Carrefour jeunesse-emploi Virtual summer job fair

The event aims to connect young people in the region with employers seeking workers for the summer season. Held online, the fair will allow youth to explore a variety of summer job opportunities, learn more about local businesses, and connect directly with employers across the region.


Poetry in the Pontiac
Poetry in the Pontiac, a National Poetry Month event, takes place Wednesday, April 29th, in the heart of Shawville at Hursty’s Bar & Grill.
For the 2026 event, the invited guests are writers AJ Dolman and James K. Moran, both residing in Ottawa.
