Karissa Rutledge, a neighbour and longtime friend of Doug and Reuben Hodgins, organized a benefit fundraiser for the brothers and their nephew Kyle Cockerell and his family, to support them as they build back their lives after losing their family farm in a fire in August.

The event brought in more than $900 for the families.
