Three running for Bristol’s vacant council seat

The window for submitting nomination papers to run for council seat 4 in the Municipality of Bristol is now closed.

Three people will be campaigning for the seat – Christine Rybak, Alex Mahon and former mayor Brent Orr. 

Rybak ran for seat 2 in the 2025 municipal election, and Mahon ran for seat 1. Orr lost his position of 16 years to former Bristol councillor Valerie Twolan-Graham, who won 53.06 per cent of the vote.

Election day is set for Sun., June 28 and advance polling will be Sun., June 21.
