Dust off your boots and clear your calendar for the 2026 Shawville Country Jamboree, taking place from July 16 to July 19 at the historic Armstrong Farm. This beloved annual tradition, hosted by the Shawville Lions, promises a weekend packed with the best of Ottawa Valley country music and community spirit. The festivities kick off on Thursday night with the popular Open Mic session, giving local rising stars a chance to shine. As the weekend unfolds, the stage will feature an impressive roster of talent including the house band Unwound, plus fan favorites like Chris Craig, Tammy Wood, Stephen Drinkwater, and the Plager Boys. Whether you’re a lifelong country fan or just looking for a weekend of good old-fashioned fun, the Jamboree offers a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a giant family reunion.

For those looking to fully immerse themselves in the experience, on-site camping is available, with early bird weekend rates starting at $95 per person (if booked before June 1st). Day passes are also available for walk-ins, with Friday and Saturday tickets priced at $35 each, while children under 12 can enjoy the music for free when accompanied by an adult. Between the powerhouse performances and the legendary hospitality of the Lions Club, the Jamboree is more than just a concert series—it’s a celebration of local culture. Be sure to bring your lawn chairs (but leave the umbrellas at home to keep the view clear for everyone!) and get ready for four days of unforgettable melodies and memories in the heart of the Pontiac.
