Candidates meet and greet in Shawville

Some 100 residents and candidates from Shawville, Clarendon, Bristol, Thorne, Otter Lake, Alleyn-et-Cawood, and Portage-du-Fort packed Hursty’s Bar and Grill in Shawville on Oct. 9 for the second of four meet-the-candidate events THE EQUITY is hosting ahead of the Nov. 2 municipal elections. All four warden candidates were also in attendance. This week, our team is hosting similar events at J&A Bowers Restaurant in Mansfield on Oct. 15, and at Waltham Station on Oct. 16. These events, open to all, are opportunities for voters to meet the people running to represent them for the next four years. We look forward to seeing you there!
