To encourage more women to run in the upcoming municipal elections this November, AGIR Outaouais is organizing a discussion panel with women elected officials from the Pontiac MRC.
The event will take place on April 30 at 1:00 p.m., at the Elsie Gibbons Room in the MRC Pontiac office.
The invited panelists are: Jane Toller (Warden of the Pontiac MRC), Christine Francoeur (Mayor of Fort-Coulonge), Jennifer Quaile (Mayor of Otter Lake), Sandra Armstrong (Mayor of Mansfield-et-Pontefract), and Sidney Squitti (Councillor for Alleyn and Cawood). They will share their personal journeys, the reflections that shaped their involvement, and what motivated them to take the leap into municipal leadership.
The event will be held in French, but translation will be available on site.
