Outaouais sporting organization soliciting nominations

The organizing committee of Excellence Sportive Outaouais has announced the commencement of the nomination period for their annual awards gala, which will take place in mid-December.
A non-profit organization that advocates for the development of athletics in the Outaouais region, Excellence Sportive Outaouais supports high-performance athletes by providing access to equipment, medical services and the general infrastructure used by athletes during their training process.
The upcoming 7th edition of the Excellence Sportive Outaouais gala, presents an opportunity for athletes, coaches, managers and volunteers to be recognized for their commitments in growing sport in the Outaouais region.
The gala recognizes 15 award categories relating to sporting achievement, commitment, leadership and regional influence. Over $22,000 in bursaries will be awarded at the event.
“Over the past six years, thanks to your support, we’ve been able to celebrate the commitment of the Outaouais sports community with pride and emotion,” wrote General Manager of Excellence Sportive Outaouais Elodie Brault. “Once again this year, you have the opportunity to spotlight the players who have outdone themselves this year on the sports scene in our beautiful region, to motivate them to achieve their aspirations.”
The nomination process is open until October 22, with those interested in participating being asked to visit the Excellence Sportive Outaouais website.
