He is best known for his historical songwriting that portrays the history and heritage of the Ottawa Valley. While the LRW show will include songs of this nature, the show will be a broad folk music experience for listeners, with songs of other folk artists like John Prine and David Francey interspersed with songs from his 2 albums and new songs from what will be his third upcoming album. Marc’s shows are described as captivating, uplifting and calming with a nice injection of humour and humility. His songwriting is described as clever and beautiful, with a soulful authenticity, and his stage presence is described as unassuming.
