Marc Audet is a singer/songwriter and recording artist from the Ottawa Valley that brings to the stage impressions of the richness of Valley life and culture. He is best known for his historical songwriting that portrays the history and heritage of the Ottawa Valley. While the LRW show will include songs of this nature, the show will be a broad folk music experience for listeners, with songs of other folk artists like John Prine and David Francey interspersed with songs from his 2 albums and new songs from what will be his third upcoming album. Marc’s shows are described as captivating, uplifting and calming with a nice injection of humour and humility. His songwriting is described as clever and beautiful, with a soulful authenticity, and his stage presence is described as unassuming. Marc will be accompanied by his son Bradley Audet who elevates the musical experience with Irish whistle and melodica. The familial connectivity inherent in this duo act is enriching.
