Le casse-cro\u00fbte de la route\u00a0148 \u00e0 Campbell\u2019s Bay a de nouveaux propri\u00e9taires cette ann\u00e9e. Dwayne Mosley, un r\u00e9sident de Mansfield, g\u00e8re le casse-cro\u00fbte depuis le d\u00e9but mai avec sa femme, ses enfants et ses petits-enfants, sous le nom de Boo-Boo\u2019s Snack Shack. Le nom est un hommage \u00e0 la petite-fille de M. Mosley, Brooklyn Lafleur, que la famille a surnomm\u00e9e Boo-Boo quand elle \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s jeune.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0J’entends dire que les gens aiment le nom\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il affirm\u00e9.<\/p>\n

M. Mosley a dit qu’il avait toujours voulu se lancer dans le commerce des casse-cro\u00fbte et qu\u2019il a ouvert le Boo-Boo\u2019s cette ann\u00e9e pour donner un emploi d’\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 ses petits-enfants tout en gagnant un peu d’argent lui-m\u00eame.<\/p>\n

Il a dit qu’il voulait donner une opportunit\u00e9 \u00e0 sa petite-fille Kasey Lafleur, membre du club 4-H de Shawville qui aspire \u00e0 participer \u00e0 un concours national \u00e0 Toronto cette ann\u00e9e, pour amasser des fonds pour le voyage.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Elle a des go\u00fbts tr\u00e8s chers, comme 10\u00a0000\u00a0$ pour une vache, a-t-il dit. Alors, elle a besoin de faire de l’argent.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00c0 cette fin, chacun des trois petits-enfants de M. Mosley a choisi un plat sur le menu pour porter son nom et financer ses activit\u00e9s parascolaires. Une partie des profits du mac-burger de Kasey aidera \u00e0 financer son voyage \u00e0 Toronto, tandis que le taco en sac de son petit-fils Hunter aidera \u00e0 payer ses activit\u00e9s sportives.<\/p>\n

Boo-Boo, \u00e9galement membre du club 4-H, a choisi un lait frapp\u00e9 \u00e0 la p\u00e2te \u00e0 biscuits et garnit chacun d’une spirale sp\u00e9ciale avant de le remettre au client. \u00ab\u00a0C’est ma saveur pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9e\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-elle dit pour expliquer son choix de saveur.<\/p>\n

Kasey, qui n’avait jamais cuisin\u00e9 avant de travailler dans la cuisine de Boo-Boo’s, a dit que c’\u00e9tait une courbe d’apprentissage abrupte en pr\u00e9parant commande apr\u00e8s commande pendant les heures de pointe.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0\u00c7a a \u00e9t\u00e9 occup\u00e9, mais il faut un peu suivre le rythme de chaque commande\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-elle dit.
M. Mosley a dit qu’il \u00e9tait fier du travail accompli jusqu’\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent par Kasey et toute l’\u00e9quipe.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0\u00c7a peut \u00eatre la folie ici, et on pourrait croire qu’elle fait \u00e7a depuis cinq ou dix ans\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il dit.<\/p>

Le restaurant offre \u00e9galement un rabais de 10\u00a0% aux premiers r\u00e9pondants, ainsi qu’un rabais pour les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
