Le 1er janvier, le tournoi comm\u00e9moratif Robert Chartrand a annonc\u00e9 un don de plus de 55 000 $ \u00e0 des organismes sportifs des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la rivi\u00e8re des Outaouais, des fonds amass\u00e9s lors de la troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition annuelle du tournoi communautaire de balle molle et de hockey, qui s’est tenue en octobre. <\/p>\n

L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9 pour la premi\u00e8re fois en m\u00e9moire d\u2019un homme de L\u2019Isle-aux-Allumettes qui a tragiquement perdu la vie dans un accident de motoneige en 2021. Robert Chartrand \u00e9tait un fervent d\u00e9fenseur des sports jeunesse, et c\u2019est pourquoi le comit\u00e9 a vers\u00e9 l\u2019argent amass\u00e9 lors des tournois pour soutenir cette cause.<\/p>\n

Les deux premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es du tournoi ont permis d\u2019amasser 80 000 $, que le comit\u00e9 a vers\u00e9s \u00e0 des organismes sportifs locaux du Pontiac et du comt\u00e9 de Renfrew. Le tournoi de cette ann\u00e9e a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un nombre accru d\u2019\u00e9quipes en balle molle et en hockey, ainsi qu\u2019une offre musicale en direct \u00e9largie. <\/p>\n

H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Chartrand, s\u0153ur de Robert et organisatrice du tournoi, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition annuelle du tournoi avait poursuivi le succ\u00e8s des deux premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, amassant 55 000 $ pour des organismes sportifs locaux. <\/p>\n

\u00ab La troisi\u00e8me \u00e9dition annuelle du tournoi a \u00e9t\u00e9 un merveilleux succ\u00e8s. La communaut\u00e9 s\u2019est rassembl\u00e9e pour honorer Robert, et nous continuons d\u2019\u00eatre \u00e9merveill\u00e9s par le soutien \u00bb, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9.  <\/p>\n

Parmi les b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires des dons dans le Pontiac figurent le Chapeau RA (10 000 $), le Waltham RA (5 000 $), le Complexe sportif du Haut-Pontiac (5 000 $), les Maisons des Jeunes (5 000 $), le Chapeau Minor Hockey (2 500 $), le Fort-Coulonge Comets Hockey (5 000 $), le Coyote Basketball (1 000 $), l\u2019\u00c9ducation en plein air Notre Dame (2 500 $), l\u2019\u00c9ducation en plein air DWKS (2 500 $) et l\u2019Apple Juice Hockey League (1 500 $). <\/p>\n

La pr\u00e9sidente du Chapeau RA, Christie Dennie, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que les 10 000 $ que son organisme a re\u00e7us serviront \u00e0 moderniser le terrain de balle. Elle a ajout\u00e9 que les principales mises \u00e0 jour n\u00e9cessaires comprennent de nouveaux poteaux, un nouveau filet protecteur et le r\u00e9ensemencement du champ ext\u00e9rieur.  <\/p>\n

H\u00e9l\u00e8ne a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la fondation voulait soutenir une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de programmes offerts aux jeunes de l\u2019Isle-aux-Allumettes des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la rivi\u00e8re, y compris de nouveaux programmes au Chapeau pour le basketball, le patinage de haute performance et le hockey pour adolescents. <\/p>\n
