Il y a deux semaines, THE EQUITY a lanc\u00e9 un appel sp\u00e9cial demandant aux lecteurs d’envoyer des histoires d’amour, quelle que soit la forme qu’il a prise dans leur vie. Cet appel a \u00e9t\u00e9 inspir\u00e9 par une histoire d’amour partag\u00e9e par Lynette Harris, que nous avons publi\u00e9e la semaine derni\u00e8re. Apr\u00e8s avoir lu son histoire, nous en voulions plus. Et nous l’avons eu. Deux autres lecteurs ont envoy\u00e9 de courtes histoires sur la fa\u00e7on dont l’amour a touch\u00e9 leur vie. <\/em><\/p>\n

Lisa Cartman \u2013 Shawville<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mon histoire d’amour a commenc\u00e9 quand j’avais 11 ans. <\/p>\n

Kountry Kookin\u2019 \u00e9tait situ\u00e9 au 373, route 148, \u00e0 Shawville. J’y ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 faire la vaisselle les dimanches matins achaland\u00e9s. \u00c0 l’\u00e2ge de 12 ans, j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 promue serveuse. J’ai travaill\u00e9 tout au long du secondaire. J’ai d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 \u00e0 Ottawa pour poursuivre des \u00e9tudes postsecondaires et je rentrais chaque fin de semaine pour travailler. J’ai fini par quitter cet endroit au d\u00e9but de ma vingtaine, mais il a toujours eu une place sp\u00e9ciale dans mon c\u0153ur.  C’est l\u00e0 que j’ai appris mon \u00e9thique de travail et mon amour des gens.  <\/p>\n

J’ai travaill\u00e9 pour quatre propri\u00e9taires diff\u00e9rents et chacun m’a appris davantage.  C’\u00e9tait un endroit achaland\u00e9 et j’ai de nombreux souvenirs de clients \u2013 de souvenirs amusants de gens que j’ai appris \u00e0 conna\u00eetre et d’\u00e9trangers qui passaient sur la route achaland\u00e9e. J’adorais l’agitation, le plaisir d’\u00eatre \u00ab\u2009d\u00e9bord\u00e9e\u2009\u00bb. Vingt-sept ans plus tard, je suis fi\u00e8re d’\u00eatre la propri\u00e9taire de Cartrites, situ\u00e9 au 373, route 148, Shawville.  <\/p>\n

Brad et Joanne Elliott \u2013 Shawville<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joanne et moi sommes mari\u00e9s depuis 38 merveilleuses ann\u00e9es. Nous \u00e9tions si jeunes au d\u00e9but et avons construit une belle vie et une famille ensemble avec nos quatre filles \u2013 Kristy, Kayla, Kelsea et Keasha. Notre histoire d’amour a commenc\u00e9 quand nous n’avions que neuf ans, et chaque ann\u00e9e qui passe, notre amour est devenu plus profond et plus fort. Nous avons eu de nombreuses b\u00e9n\u00e9dictions et avons rencontr\u00e9 de nombreux obstacles en cours de route, mais ensemble, nous les avons tous surmont\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l’amour, l’engagement et la foi l’un en l’autre. Chaque fois que j’entends une chanson de Boston, cela me ram\u00e8ne \u00e0 ces premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es et aux souvenirs que je ch\u00e9rirai toujours avec toi. Merci Joanne, pour tout ce que tu fais pour nous tous et pour l’incroyable vie que nous avons b\u00e2tie ensemble. Je t’aime.<\/p>\n
