{"id":292733,"date":"2026-06-20T16:47:17","date_gmt":"2026-06-20T20:47:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/theequity.ca\/des-filles-sinitient-au-hockey-a-shawville\/"},"modified":"2026-06-20T16:47:17","modified_gmt":"2026-06-20T20:47:17","slug":"des-filles-sinitient-au-hockey-a-shawville","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theequity.ca\/fr\/des-filles-sinitient-au-hockey-a-shawville\/","title":{"rendered":"Des filles s&rsquo;initient au hockey \u00e0 Shawville"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Une dizaine de filles se sont initi\u00e9es au hockey pour la premi\u00e8re fois \u00e0 Shawville, samedi apr\u00e8s-midi, lors d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e9nement organis\u00e9 par l\u2019Association de hockey mineur du district de Shawville (AHDMS) afin d\u2019encourager une plus grande participation f\u00e9minine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Le programme de journ\u00e9e d\u2019initiation ESSO est organis\u00e9 par Hockey Canada. Il a d\u00e9but\u00e9 en 1998 et, selon Hockey Canada, est devenu l\u2019un des plus importants outils de recrutement de l\u2019organisation pour les filles et les femmes, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 plus de 50 \u00e9v\u00e9nements organis\u00e9s chaque ann\u00e9e partout au pays.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>La registraire de l\u2019AHDMS, Amy Taylor, qui a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019organisation de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que cette journ\u00e9e se voulait un espace s\u00fbr pour les filles qui souhaitaient chausser leurs patins et s\u2019essayer \u00e0 ce sport.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab C\u2019est une fa\u00e7on agr\u00e9able et non intimidante d\u2019essayer le hockey pour la premi\u00e8re fois, par opposition \u00e0 une journ\u00e9e de s\u00e9lection \u00e0 l\u2019automne, o\u00f9 elles sont confront\u00e9es \u00e0 un groupe de gar\u00e7ons qui ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 pratiqu\u00e9 ce sport \u00bb, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019entra\u00eeneur de l\u2019AHDMS, Steve Rusenstrom, a enseign\u00e9 aux filles des concepts de base du hockey avant qu\u2019elles ne prennent la glace. Aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de quelques entra\u00eeneurs, les filles ont travaill\u00e9 leur patinage, leurs passes et leurs tirs avant de se lancer dans un mini-match intra-\u00e9quipe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Kayla McCann, qui a dirig\u00e9 l\u2019instruction sur glace, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que comme c\u2019\u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re fois que beaucoup de ces filles chaussaient des patins de hockey, l\u2019objectif \u00e9tait de s\u2019assurer qu\u2019elles appr\u00e9ciaient l\u2019exp\u00e9rience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Je pense que la participation a \u00e9t\u00e9 tr\u00e8s bonne et qu\u2019elles \u00e9taient toutes tr\u00e8s heureuses et enthousiastes \u00bb, a-t-elle d\u00e9clar\u00e9.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mme Taylor a indiqu\u00e9 qu\u2019actuellement, un peu plus de 10 % des joueurs de l\u2019organisation sont des femmes, la plupart ayant 13 ans ou moins. Elle a ajout\u00e9 qu\u2019en organisant des \u00e9v\u00e9nements comme ceux-ci, le club esp\u00e8re les voir continuer \u00e0 pratiquer ce sport en vieillissant.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Nous avons trouv\u00e9 \u00e7a plut\u00f4t cool.
